I'm trying to get on GMT, but I'm not able to get to sleep early enough. I was up till 5AM in the morning, which meant another late start at 11:30AM. Argh! Back home, I suffered from Lifestyle-Induced-Jetlag. Now I'm experiencing the real thing on top of it! Neda did wake up at 8AM and walked to the closest Waterstone's to pick up the new Harry Potter. When I woke up, she was already 150 pages into it! Around page 93, Neda took a break from Harry Potter and checked to see if I was up yet. The answer is self-evident We spent the whole day at my cousin's wedding and reception. Justin and Denise are a wonderful young couple who had a beautiful wedding despite the on-and-off-again showers plaguing most of the UK in the last week. The ceremony was held in Chinese Church in London (that's the actual name), which is about a 10-minute drive west of our hotel, in Hammersmith. Denise and Justin taking their vows Signing the register. My uncle James on the right, Denise's father on the left Outside the church My camera doesn't seem to take good pictures in low-light situations. I've tried playing around with the settings, but everything either turns out grainy or blurry. No matter, we headed straight to the reception after, which was being held near Rickmanswerth (basically the middle of nowhere, 45 minutes north west of London) on a beautiful old English house called Micklefield Hall. Micklefield Hall The beautiful bride and my cousin, the groom Love this candid shot of Denise! Neda molesting one of the statues "I'm just saying, it doesn't hurt to be prepared, is all..." The throwing of the rose petals. Poor Justin got quite the faceful from several of his friends. My cousin, Wing-Fai and his partner, Darren Me with my cousins, Wing-Fai and I, Oliver and Vern, Justin's brother and sister My uncle Tak Leong and his partner Jim, who drove us all over London that day!
